Rates of flu-like illness are still relatively low in the state, as measured by this week's flu report. (Weekly_flu_report_10-26-12) The good news is that there's still time to prepare for flu season by getting a flu shot. There is plenty of flu vaccine available across the state, and you can get yours either at your health care provider's office or by searching for a local flu clinic in your area at www.mylocalclinic.com.
And speaking of being prepared, you might have heard about Hurricane Sandy which is currently making her way north from the Caribbean Sea. We still don't know the exact path the storm will take, or what impact it might have on New England. But in the meantime now is a great time to learn some basic ways that you can get prepared just in case.

There is no link to the weekly tabular data for this week's report ---- DPH RESPONDS: Thanks for letting us know! We addressed the technical glitch and the report should now be posted.
