Sleep is the most important part of the day. If one didn't had enough sleep then his/her whole day would be ruined. These tips are very helpful in case when someone had a difficulty in waking up in the morning.

Although I am addicted to tv & have a nightly ritual of going to bed after watching my shows, usually reading to before bedtime helps me fall asleep.

I'm really interested in the list of foods that can promote sleep! I already knew about reducing/eliminating caffeine and big pre-sleep meals, but that list is new to me! Thanks for such useful information!

Hi Jen,

That's a great question. These tips can help with waking up easier, as they help your body to sleep more soundly. Having trouble waking up, or waking up groggy, could also be a factor in when you're going to bed and waking up, and how much sleep your body needs. You might be waking up in the middle of a sleep cycle. Based on how much sleep you need, you can experiment with changing the time you go to sleep.

This link has more information on sleep cycles:

Good luck!

I can go to sleep easily but I have the WORST trouble waking up. Do these tips help with that, too?
