Great suggestions - thank you!

The other piece to this great blog post is team sports. There is such a camaraderie that develops when you're part of a team sport that makes a difference on how you feel. That's not to say winning & losing don't make a difference w/ your emotions but having teammates to turn to is a great asset.

Love the blog! Good, common sense suggestions that we can all learn from. Thank you!

A great way to broaden your connections is through meetup.com - which is used by a wide range of groups to organize offline socials and meetings all over the world. If you're new to the area, or looking to increase your network, you can start by searching meetup.com for the causes and interests you care about. As Alison said, "This is all to say that the more robust our connections are to each other and to our communities, the happier and healthier we’ll be."
