Maya, I enjoyed this post, but need to respond to the comments you made in your third paragraph. I would consider myself an active female who works out about 4-5 times a week. I do have a pair of these sneakers and I do feel a difference in my calf muscles when I use them, but I certainly do not consider them "magic slippers" and with my work out schedule, I definitely would not say that I am looking for the "quick fix". But, I would say if you are "pounding pavement", good for you-that is the exercise whether you are wearing instability shoes or not. I think we could all agree though that if there is a possibility of adding something to your work out, or making it better by doing what we would be doing anyway, isn't that worth it?
