How gorgeous was the weather on Saturday? Didn’t it make you want to go run around outside or hop on a bike and explore? I can feel springtime just itching to get out from behind these gloomy rain clouds! And that means that it’s time to dust off our bicycles and sneakers and get outside.
If you are nervous to hop on a bike and just start pedaling, check out this article: Boston by Bike. It takes you on 3 potential bike rides around the Boston area: 1) Forest and Fields, which takes you along the Southwest Corridor Park from Northeastern University to the Arnold Arboretum; 2) Harborwalk Cruise, which takes you along the Harborwalk from UMass Boston to the entrance of Pleasure Bay; and 3) River Ride, which takes you along the Esplanade, from Science Park to Allston.
For the rest of us who don’t live in the Boston area, the Department of Conservation and Recreation has a great list of bike paths and trails all across MA. And, if you’re not so bicycle-inclined, don’t worry! The Department of Conservation and Recreation also has a listing of hundreds of other outdoor activities all over the state. Check them out - and please share pictures of your experience with us!
How are you planning on enjoying the spring weather? Because, it’s coming - no excuses!

Maya,
thank you for taking the time to post your recommendations of where to take a nice bike ride. It's now on my do to list of discovering those trails.
