PATRICK-MURRAY ADMINISTRATION CONVENES HEARINGS ON HEALTH CARE COSTS
Insurers, providers and industry experts to testify on rising health care costs
BOSTON - As part of the Patrick-Murray Administration's efforts to provide control rising health care costs, the Executive Office of Health and Human Services and its Division of Health Care Finance and Policy will convene three days of cost containment hearings, beginning March 16. The hearings will examine the key components of rising health care costs and detail the Administration's proposals for mitigating costs. Health and Human Services Secretary Dr. JudyAnn Bigby will open the hearings, which continue on March 18 and 19 at the University of Massachusetts in Boston.
