As the flu situation throughout the state continues to change more and more rapidly, we will be posting to this blog more frequently in order to continue to share the most up to date and key information with all residents of the Commonwealth. While we encourage everyone to continue their spirited dialogue around the H1N1 virus in the comments section, DPH will no longer be able to respond to specific questions and comments.
We thank you for your continued patience and we remain committed to our pledge to keep you updated on this blog as the situation evolves.

Why is it that there are general vaccination clinics for some towns (Wellesley) and yet high risk children are unable to get vaccinated? I feel the entire distribution process for the flu vaccine is completely political and is not serving justice to children most at need. I would love an answer.

School and government officials should really consider closing the schools until all children, the ones we are told that are at risk, are immunized. To do this, would be a step in the right direction, not a moment too soon.

Really wish you'd have a plan for kids of high risk group to be excused from school until vaccinated.
