The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued an advisory telling consumers not to use certain Zicam cold remedies. The FDA advisory issued today (6/16) can be found by clicking this link: http://tinyurl.com/mjbygd
The agency says that it has received more than 130 reports of loss of sense of smell associated with three product lines of the popular over-the-counter remedy. In its advisory, the FDA also provides an online complaint form for consumers and health care providers to report adverse reactions to the use of these products.
